Customers Take Advantage of New Features to Monetize Online Videos and Bring in New Business
Denver, CO, March 9, 2009 — VideoBloom has just released its newly upgraded online video platform version 3.0, and Web site, chock-full of additions and changes that make navigating, purchasing and using its Internet video products easier and more effective.
The new platform 3.0 includes such features as improved usability, new swappable "skins" for video players, expanded dashboard and analytics as well as a convenient shopping cart for easy upgrades of video management and hosting plans.
KATV, an Arkansas news station, and TriNet, a Human Resources firm, are among the newest customers to take advantage of VideoBloom’s enhanced features.
News channel KATV, who was already in the Internet video game with their premiere high school football Web site FridayNightTouchdowns.com, came to VideoBloom for help monetizing their content.
VideoBloom customized KATV’s online video player to play pre-roll ads (the ads that play before the video content) selected at random from their list of advertisers. Used in conjunction with VideoBloom’s newly redesigned dashboard, KATV can quickly get a snapshot of where their analytics stand.
Aaron Malyk, Senior Web Producer, says, "Our new video player, which we’re using with VideoBloom’s analytics module, has streamlined our video ad revenue. We can keep our advertisers up-to-date with the number of views each ad has had so they know exactly what they are getting for their money."
HR outsourcing firm TriNet also wanted a branded Internet video player, one that would highlight testimonials from their high-level clients in a variety of ways. Using elements from advanced video players highlighted in VideoBloom’s new player gallery, VideoBloom created a Web video player with collapsible "wings"; one wing allows viewers to scroll through a playlist of video testimonials while the other wing features a text bar of customer quotes.
"We have successful partnerships with a wide variety of companies and that is a big selling point with prospective companies," said Ian Brown, Senior Internet Marketing Manager. "Our new video player gives potential clients a chance to see CEOs talking about how our company made their life easier."
KATV is a local news station, serving Little Rock and central Arkansas. Their sister Web site FridayNightTouchdowns.com features scores, standings and recent news from Arkansas high school football games.
TriNet works with thousands of small businesses, handling their HR services and payroll outsourcing programs. They help companies manage their human capital more strategically and cost-effectively by making "big company" benefits and HR administration simple and easy-to-use.
