Maybe you've heard, but the market is pretty tough right now, especially if you're looking for a job or new business. Here at VideoBloom, we don't like to dwell on the negative so we've been spending our time coming up with innovative ways to help you stand out from the competition.
And since there is no better way to distinguish yourself than by using Internet video (not that we're biased or anything), we think the video business card is about the coolest thing to come this way since, well, online video.
Since video in email is pretty new, most people haven't seen it in action, which means your potential customers will sit up and take notice, giving you that highly sought-after edge. And while looking for a job can be a daunting task in this tight market, a video cover letter or a "thank you for the interview" follow-up video email may just move you to the top of the pile and keep you at the forefront of the hiring manager's mind.
Best of all, it is cheap and easy. So, you can set yourself above the competition without breaking the budget, or even a sweat.

AdWords have long been one of the best ways for businesses to get their ads in front of a highly targeted audience. And now Google is opening the door for online video, by pairing their highly successful AdWords model with YouTube.
YouTube Project Manager Matthew Lui says the new ad program will "enable all video creators -- from the everyday user to a Fortune 500 advertiser -- to reach people who are interested in their content, products, or services." When YouTube users search for videos, the keyword auction winners' videos will show up alongside regular content under the heading "Sponsored Videos."
For businesses using video content, this program is an affordable way to get their Web videos in front of their target audience. Because advertisers dictate how much they'll spend by setting a maximum cost-per-click or a maximum daily budget, they can maintain control while getting their online video out on a highly-trafficked Web site.
